YOGAZI YOGA

Yogazi is led by its founder Peter Ogazi, who has over 20 years of experience as a practitioner of yoga and meditation.
He completed his Yoga Teacher training in 2011 at the acclaimed YogaLondon school and has since been able to share his knowledge and expertise with a diverse range of clients - ranging from professional athletes to those with complex health difficulties.

Peter has a background in community work, education and mental wellbeing and is very much a champion of  social equality.
Hence, a large part of the work Peter does in regards to Yoga is dedicated to those with health challenges be it physical, mental or emotional. Over the years Peter has been able to work with and alongside a number of private , statuary and voluntary organisations, these include:

The Prison Phoenix Trust - Mothers Against Violence - Families Against Violence - Christies Hospital - Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation - Greater Manchester Fire Service

SOCIALLY PRESCRIBED YOGA

Since 2022 Peter has worked with MAV  (Mothers Against Violence) to deliver a 10 week Yoga4Health socially prescribed programme of yoga. This is an NHS commissioned programme (WestLondon CCG), developed by doctors and medical researchers, leading yoga teachers and  yoga therapists.

CLASSES

Yogazi classes and training are tailored to suit all ranges of experience and fitness.

We run 2-3 classes per week in Manchester and are available for 1:1 and small group classes on request.

YOGA FOR SPORT
Peter has also completed a CPD course in Yoga and Pilates which specialised in helping sports focused clients .Peter has worked with various sports practitioners both professional and amateur , focusing on improved performance and injury mitigation specific to their chosen sport. It helps that Peter draws on his own background as a qualified fitness instructor and practitioner of the martial arts for his approach, knowledge and success with sports focussed clients.

Yogazi classes and 1:1 training will improve your overall sports performance and can be used as a recovery tool for existing injury - as well as helping to prevent these in future.
